I never imagined I\u2019d be traveling so much! But now there\u2019s a break \u2014 I\u2019m back home in Munich, returning to my blog. I had planned the trip to Vienna back in the winter \u2014 I received a special gift for Christmas: tickets to the Vienna Opera. And not just for any opera, but my favorite, <em>La Traviata<\/em>, featuring Pl\u00e1cido Domingo himself. I was so excited and could hardly wait! I was warned that nowadays people go to the opera in T-shirts and jeans, not in dresses and tuxedos like they used to. Honestly, it made me sad that opera visits are no longer celebrated as they once were. But then my inner princess spoke up: \u201cI am definitely not going to the opera in a T-shirt!\u201d I told myself. A dress! I want a dress! And so, I started searching for the perfect one. As it often happens, purely by chance, I struck up a conversation with <a href=\"https:\/\/claustyler.de\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" noreferrer\">Claus Tyler<\/a>, a fashion designer with Austrian roots, and he offered me one of his dresses for the opera. It was such a kind gesture, and I was so happy! I instantly fell in love with his dresses\u2014they\u2019re a mix of elegance and the style of the 1920s and 1930s, a time when precise cuts and feminine silhouettes were all the rage. La Traviata, which I adore \u2014 when I\u2019ve had enough of Drake and A$AP Rocky, I enjoy listening to classical music, jazz, or opera. Alongside <em>Tosca<\/em> and <em>Norma<\/em>, La Traviata is my absolute favorite. Experiencing it live at the Vienna State Opera moved me to tears. As soon as the prelude began, I couldn\u2019t hold back the tears. No matter how silly it sounds, that\u2019s how it was. Even in Munich, where we\u2019re used to constant weather changes, it\u2019s never been this windy. In Vienna, my hair was constantly blowing around my head, my eyes were tearing up \u2014 it can really drive a woman crazy after a while. In that sense, I wasn\u2019t just emotionally \u201cblown away\u201d after the opera, but literally as well. Stylishly designed suites, a reception area that could go down in history as a model of interior design, first-class service, and the feeling of being at home even though it\u2019s a hotel.
