When summer is over, it becomes especially important for me to stick to my beauty routine: the days get shorter, there’s less sunlight, and the cold doesn’t make things any easier. That’s why I make sure to always find time for my skincare routine. After a long, tiring day, it’s the best way to recover – not just for my skin but also mentally. It’s the perfect way to unwind after a busy day: for me, beauty routines have always been a kind of ritual, almost like meditation.

I was especially excited to receive my Oktoberfest Recovering Set. High-quality skincare in autumn is exactly what I need right now! After the busy Oktoberfest weeks, it’s the perfect time to treat my skin. As much as we Munich locals love our “fifth season,” the Wiesn visits aren’t just pure fun, they can also be a strain – especially on the skin. That’s why it’s the perfect time to try out my new skincare range from the Korean natural cosmetics brand Banila Co.

Where does good skincare begin? Of course, with cleansing. My days are long: work, hobbies, free time – my life is exciting and fulfilling at the moment. Still, I don’t want to neglect my skincare routine. The first thing I do in the morning after waking up, and in the evening after a long day, is cleansing.

For my morning routine, I tested a new product: the Clean It Zero Foam Cleanser from Banila Co. What I love about it is that it soothes irritation – I tend to have redness, especially in the morning. It’s a moisturizing foam cleanser with amino surfactants that removes impurities and prepares the skin perfectly for further care.

Next is the Dear Hydration Bounce Eye Cream with panthenol, pink cactus water, and BiomHydrate. A few fine lines, especially when laughing, add character to the face, but too many shouldn’t be there either! Since my skin is naturally on the drier side, my eye area needs extra care as it’s even more sensitive.

For my face, I’m currently using the Dear Hydration Water Barrier Cream, which contains ceramides and rose water for antioxidant effects and forms a barrier to prevent moisture loss. This moisturizing cream is fantastic against dryness and flakiness, which I particularly appreciate in the autumn. I’ve noticed that if I don’t take care of my skin enough in the fall, it tends to flake. When that happens, there’s only one solution: moisturize, moisturize, moisturize… You can never have too much!

To remove makeup, the Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm is my go-to. The set includes four amazing products: Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Original, Revitalizing, Purifying, and Nourishing. There are many options for every kind of skin types and they even remove waterproof makeup.

Another great product for makeup removal is the Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Pore Clarifying with jojoba oil and Tri-Peel Acid. It feels like sorbet on the skin and removes dead skin cells with AHA, BHA, and LHA. A good alternative is the Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Nourishing, with ginseng and royal jelly extracts for dry skin, or the Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Calming, a hypoallergenic cleansing oil with seven natural ingredients.

To finish, I use the Dear Hydration Crystal Glow Essence with pink cactus water and lotus extract. It restores the pH balance of my skin, soothes irritation, and has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Truly the best after a long day or a party!
